What to Expect
This Peru itinerary will be active, requiring you to be in good health and physical condition. The trip involves considerable walking on uneven terrain where stairs are unavailable or do not have handrails, long days, with some early departures, and activities scheduled throughout the day and into the evening. In addition, Cuzco’s high altitude (11,150 feet) could pose problems for travelers with certain health conditions. We recommend participants with medical conditions consult with a doctor prior to travel.
