Peru & the Galapagos Islands

January 2026

Join the Purdue President’s Council on a journey to experience two of South America’s most celebrated destinations, the Inca treasures of Peru and the natural wonders of the Galápagos. Explore World Heritage sites, including historic Cusco, the sites of the Sacred Valley, and the “lost city” of Machu Picchu. Then cruise in the Galapagos Islands on a mega-yacht specifically designed to navigate the waters of this environmental paradise. Encounter giant tortoises, blue-footed boobies, marine iguanas, and much more on nature walks on the volcanic islands and black-sand beaches.
